My name is Fran. I live with my husband and two kids, Romeo and Rita. I love to spend time with my family. I work for Social Action for Health, charity that fights against health inequalities in East London. I do enjoy very much my job. I also teach Ashtanga yoga some classes per week. Mysore Practice help me create space inside and outside myself. I am grateful about life and try to enjoy every moment.
Laura is Polish-Brazilian, and she has been practicing ashtanga for most of the last decade. Outside the Mysore room, Laura works for C40 Cities, a climate change non-profit tackling the climate emergency in 96 global mega cities. Having lived and worked in Brazil, India, France and Tunisia (among other places), she now calls East London home and enjoys nothing more than a walk around the Regents Canal on a sunny day.
I am passionate about the benefits of yoga and the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. This has helped me in numerous aspects of my life, including my work as a doctor.
I also love dance, skiing and travel.
I make a killer vegan Kimchi!
It is a pleasure to assist and learn from Corrie, and to help my fellow students in their practice.
Outside the Mysore room: An obsession with fermentation led me to start a kombucha company called Fix8. So outside of the Mysore room I’m likely brewing, selling or thinking about kombucha!
I have been teaching & studying yoga for the last 8 years. I am qualified Nutritional Therapist - 'Healthy Mays', specialising in naturopathic healing with the important inclusion of a functional medicine perspective. I love helping people to find health through personalised diet and lifestyle plans and transformational wellness & yoga retreats.
